Chris Lambrecht founded Intelligent Marketing Solutions (IMS) in 1997 because he saw the need for marketing and advertising expertise in companies that could not justify a full time marketing executive.  Additionally, he saw that it was very difficult for most companies to obtain reasonably priced creative services without a lengthy and costly learning curve.

Prior to his consulting experience, Chris has been a principle in a B2B advertising agency, Director of Marketing & Sales for a leading specialty plastics manufacturer (Porex Technologies) to original equipment manufacturers on a global basis, and worked for Corning (Glass) Inc. in numerous sales, manufacturing and marketing management roles.

While at Porex Technologies, Chris was personally responsible leading the division’s sales and marketing department of 52 people, growing sales from under $3MM to over $15MM in ten years.

Markets that Chris has had direct experience with include OEM machine and product design, robotics, machine tool, packaging, medical diagnostics, scientific supplies and equipment, pulp & paper, automotive, business software, building and construction, oil & gas, and numerous others.

Chris best enjoys working in the areas of strategic marketing and opportunity marketing, though much of his work has been as virtual Director of Marketing for his B2B clients. He is currently pursuing his CMC designation with the Institute of Management Consulting.

Chris received his B.S. of Management Sciences from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, and has completed extensive executive-level programs including Strategic Marketing Planning and Advanced Strategic Planning at the University of Michigan Business School.

Chris has served on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Ad Club, the Fayette County Recreation Board, the Southern Land Preservation Trust, and the Technology Marketing Association of TAG. He is currently a board member of Friends of North Springs Charter School and Institute of Management Consultants, Georgia Chapter. He is also an active member of Atlanta Executive Advisors, Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber, Community Consulting Teams and Wooly Algedid Eastern Hemlock Monitoring Project.
